Toyota’s network figure of 826 touchpoints across 435 cities was reported in July 2025 and may have expanded since then. Toyota’s official site currently lists the Urban Cruiser Ebella as its first EV for India and the current showroom lineup includes 13 models.

Toyota cars in India currently start from around ₹6.73 lakh ex-showroom for the Glanza and go well into the premium segment. The Land Cruiser 300 sits at the top of the range at around ₹2.18 crore, while models such as the Fortuner, Camry, Vellfire and Innova HyCross cover the middle and premium segments. Toyota Sales History
Toyota has steadily grown its presence in India through models such as the Qualis, Innova, Fortuner and Hyryder. In FY2025-26, Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold a record 4,06,081 vehicles, up 20% from 3,37,148 units in FY2024-25. Domestic sales stood at 3,67,107 units, while exports reached 38,974 units. The company also recorded its highest-ever calendar-year sales in 2025 at 3,88,801 units.
Toyota has continued this momentum into 2026. Between January and June 2026, TKM sold 2,01,338 units, up 15% compared with the same period in 2025. The Urban Cruiser Ebella, launched in January 2026, also marked Toyota’s entry into India’s battery-electric vehicle market.

Toyota Manufacturing in India
Toyota Kirloskar Motor currently manufactures vehicles at its two plants in Bidadi, Karnataka. The first plant has an installed capacity of up to 1.32 lakh vehicles annually, while the second can produce up to 2.10 lakh units, taking the combined capacity to 3.42 lakh vehicles per year. The plants produce models including the Innova HyCross, Innova Crysta, Fortuner, Legender, Camry Hybrid, Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Hilux. Toyota has also announced plans for a new manufacturing plant in Maharashtra, with production targeted to begin in the first half of 2029.
