Nissan Sales History

Nissan is currently rebuilding its presence in India after a period with a limited product lineup. The Magnite remained the brand’s main volume driver, while 2026 brought the new Gravite and Tekton. Domestic sales have shown strong growth this year, with Nissan reporting 3,203 units in April, 2,948 in May and 3,006 in June 2026. June marked the fourth consecutive month of year-on-year domestic growth.

The company’s growth story is not limited to India. Nissan has a strong export business from its Indian manufacturing operations, and it has set a target of reaching 2 lakh annual sales, with the aim of balancing domestic sales and exports as its new product range expands.

Compact SUVs: The Nissan Magnite is the brand’s most affordable SUV and continues to be its key India model. It is available with 1.0-litre petrol engines, manual, AMT and CVT options, and can also be fitted with a government-approved CNG kit.

MPVs: The Nissan Gravite is a seven-seat MPV aimed at families looking for space without moving into a much larger vehicle. It is available with petrol power and an approved CNG retrofit option. The CNG setup uses twin cylinders while retaining the third-row seating.

Mid-Size SUVs: The Nissan Tekton is the brand’s newest premium C-SUV. Launched in July 2026, it gets turbo-petrol engines with outputs of up to 163 PS and 280 Nm, along with manual and DCT options.

Premium SUV: The Nissan X-Trail sits at the top of the current India range. It is a premium three-row SUV and uses a petrol engine with Nissan’s e-POWER hybrid technology.
