VinFast Sales History
VinFast is still a young brand in India, so its sales history is much shorter than established carmakers. The company began deliveries of the VF 6 and VF 7 after their 2025 launch and has been steadily expanding its retail presence. In 2026, VinFast added the VF MPV 7 to enter the electric MPV segment. Rather than focusing only on sales numbers, the company is currently building its India business around local assembly, new models and a wider dealership and service network.

VinFast Manufacturing in India
VinFast’s India manufacturing facility is located at the SIPCOT Industrial Park in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The 400-acre facility was inaugurated in August 2025 and initially focuses on assembling the VF 6 and VF 7. Its starting production capacity is 50,000 vehicles per year, with plans to scale up to 1.5 lakh units annually. The facility is also designed to support VinFast’s future export plans from India.
